Julia J. Richart

     Julia J. Richart, 88, of Peoria, passed away at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at her daughter’s home.
     Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue in Peoria, with Pastor Joey Watt officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
     Julia was born on August 18, 1928 in Peoria, a daughter of Antone and Suzanna (Zinckavich) Zikus. She married Robert Richart on October 12, 1957 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on May 17, 2006 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rosie Richart; and siblings, James Zikus and Marie Doty.
     She is survived by her children, Dr. Harold “Hal” (Johana) Richart of Minooka, Cindy (Bob) Bishop of Dunlap and Dr. Robert (Noriko) Richart of Highland Park; and grandchildren, Emily Richart and Tyler Richart.
     Julia worked for many years in sales with her husband at Peoria Siding and Window, Co. She was a twenty-five year member of AA. She also volunteered for OSF Hospice.
     Memorial contributions may be made in Julia’s memory to OSF Hospice.
